Obituary for Danny Vearl Salyers
Danny Vearl Salyers, 56, of Waynesburg, passed away at his home on Friday, March 5, 2010. He was born Friday, July 31, 1953 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Everett Vearl Salyers and Josephine Salyers. He was a mechanic, a welder, a carpenter, a former member of the IBEW and a member of Walltown Christian Church. Danny loved drag racing and old cars, hunting and bass fishing.
He is preceded in death by his father Everett; a daughter, Dawn Salyers; and three brothers, Steve, Greg and Mike Salyers.
He is survived by his son Chris Salyers and his wife, Kelly of Williamsburg; his mother, Josephine Salyers of Waynesburg; and five grandchildren, Tyler, Erin, Jasmine, Madison and Sierra.
An Appreciation of Life Service will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 8th at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home by Bro. Greg Powell. Burial will follow in Salyers Cemetery with Military Honors by Caswell-Saufley Post #18. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
