Hazel Robertson Fight, 84, of Kings Mountain passed away in Stanford on Monday, July 26th, 2010. She was born on Saturday, March 27th, 1926 in Lincoln...
Hazel Robertson Fight, 84, of Kings Mountain passed away in Stanford on Monday, July 26th, 2010. She was born on Saturday, March 27th, 1926 in Lincoln County to the late French & Mary C. Robirds Roberston. Hazel is the widow of Paul Fight. Hazel was a homemaker and enjoyed camping.
Survivors include her son Larry G. Fight of Kings Mountain, daughter Carolyn Smith, of Highland; brother Hubert Roberston, of Waynesburg; sister Velma Phillippe of Stanford; five grandchildren Paul E. Fight, Dana M. Fight, Eric H. Fight, Dedra Wills and Lee Smith; and five great-grandchildren.
Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son Danny Fight.
Services will be held at 1pm, Thursday, July 29th, 2010 at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home, Waynesburg with Rev. Josh Vanhook officiating. Burial will be in KP Hall Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-9 pm, Wednesday, July 28th, 2010 at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Paul, Dana, & Eric Fight, Lee Smith, Jeff Lawry, Randall Fight and Nathaniel Scudder; Honorary pallbearers will be the Staff of Golden Living Center, Dr. Rod Bates, and Ms. Fight's friends and neighbors in the Kings Mountain Community.

Teresa Releford: This past Spring The Releford family stopped by to see Aunt Hazel. While visiting Hazel she took us in the back yard and showed us the old outhouse and gave Sarah some strawberries. Ever since then Sarah has called her the strawberry lady and wanted to know when we could go back and see her. It was so good to visit with her and Carolyn and swing on the front porch and Sarah even got a piece of the marble on her brick porch. Loved that lady and rest in peace. The Relefords
